Patient Information
1. Digital Xray
The digital X–ray is the modern development of the conventional X–ray, using a digital-detector system instead of traditional photographic film. During the examination, X–rays are directed specifically at the particular body region in question. Other body parts are not directly exposed to radiation.
2. Rotary Endodontics
The most accurate cleaning and shaping for root canal treatments.
Rotary Endodontics is the procedure in which a power-driven instrument is used for root canal treatments. The use of power-driven instruments allows for more accurate cleaning and shaping of your root canal, thus allowing it to be filled easier and with more predictable results.
This technology also dramatically reduces post-operative sensitivity, time spent in the dental chair and discomfort compared to conventional endodontic treatment.
3. Cerec Crown
CEREC is the technology to take impressions quickly and generate a precisely fitted filling so you can leave Discovery Dental sooner.
One of the biggest advantages of CEREC is its convenience. If you need a crown for example you can get your teeth restored during a single trip.
Traditionally, these procedures used to require two trips to the dentist.
4. Laser diode
The diode laser is used in oral surgery excision. The advantages of laser application are that it provides relatively bloodless surgical and post-surgical courses with minimal swelling and scarring.
